Live Counter Channels
Locked voice channels at the top of your channel list whose names show live server numbers — members, boosts, who is in voice — renamed about every ten minutes.
Counter channels pin a few live numbers to the top of your channel list, such as "Members: 1,204". They are voice channels nobody can join, and the bot renames them as the numbers move.

Setting Them Up
/menu › Other › Admin › Stats › Channels › Counters asks two things:
- Counters — tick the ones you want: Members, Humans, Bots, Boosts, In voice now, Online (estimated), Joined today and Messages today.
- Use this category — leave it blank and the bot makes a "Server Stats" category at the top of the list; pick one of yours to use that instead.
A server can have up to ten. The whole plan — what will be made, renamed or removed — is shown before anything happens, and nothing changes until you confirm. The bot needs Manage Channels, View Channel and Connect there.
How it Works
- Each counter is a voice channel everybody can see and nobody can connect to.
- The names are renamed about every ten minutes. Discord limits how often a channel can be renamed, so each channel is renamed at most once in any ten minutes, and only when its number has changed.
- Online (estimated) is Discord's own estimate of how many members are online.
- The renaming never makes or deletes a channel. Only the console does that, and only when you ask.
Changing or Removing Them
- Open Counters again and change the ticks. A counter you untick has its channel deleted if the bot made it; a channel you made yourself is left alone.
- Untick them all to remove every counter.
What it Costs
Nothing. Asbern is free: every feature on this page is included in every server, and no card is needed.
