The Admin Console

/menu › Other › Admin opens the console. It is the only place you configure anything. The rule behind it: if a new owner would have to edit a file or ask a developer, it is not finished.

Who Can Open It

Discord Administrators, the server owner, and anyone in the Server Manager role the bot creates when it joins. That role carries full Discord Administrator, so only give it to someone you would make a server admin. Everyone else does not see the Admin button at all.

How it Is Laid Out

Every screen has the same shape: one row per thing, with its button on the row and a sentence beside it saying what it does. Rows come five to a page, with Prev and Next underneath.

• The first screen lists the modules.
• Open a module and its rows are its groups. Open a group and its rows are its controls.
• A module whose controls fit on one screen skips the group screen and shows them straight away.

Back always names where it goes. Going deeper and coming back keeps your page; leaving the console and coming back starts on page one.

The Modules

• Box — the one line that installs Asbern on the machine that runs your Plex and games; once it is paired, Status, Check and Remove. See Your Asbern Box.
• Access — two rows. Curator says who may make their own groups (making one happens on the Access screen itself; see Community). Unlock card posts one public card where members join or hide groups — off until you turn it on, because turning it on makes a channel.
• Moderation — kick, ban, timeout, warn and case history; lockdown, purge and voice ban; staff logs; AutoMod and anti-raid; verification; tickets. See Moderation.
• Engagement — switches for polls, reminders, the starboard and birthdays; whether members can start polls; how many stars the starboard needs; and the inbox where member feedback waits.
• Announcements — what Asbern posts in your server, and where: recaps after a casino session, a Tycoon buy, a gym badge or a shiny catch, the weekly highlights, milestones, the AFK prompt, and whether public cards tidy themselves away (recaps after 3 hours, the rest after 12) — the weekly highlights card stays. Each one is on until you switch it off. Level-up cards are switched under Leveling.
• Economy — what your server calls its money, one member's money history, and giveaways.
• Leveling — the booster bonus, no-XP channels and roles, the level-up channel, and rank roles. See Levelling.
• Stats — member lookup, joins and leaves, inactive members, channel activity, the admin log and exports. Import brings in StatBot history, and Counters sits under Channels. See Statistics.
• Settings — Health, All settings, Wiring, AFK and Complete setup; auto-role, goodbye and welcome image; the bot's name and look on this server; and Feeds — news, sports, streams and any site, posted into a channel. See Feeds. The welcome card is on unless you turn it off, and it replaces Discord's own join message.
• Media — Set up, Status and Remove, for Watch. See Media Server Setup.
• Game Servers — Set up, Detect, Add, By address and Remove. See Game Server Setup.

A Fresh Install

/menu › Other › Admin › Settings › Setup holds five things worth knowing on day one: Complete setup walks you through six quick steps on what matters most, each already filled in (an admin sees it first on /menu until the server's setup is complete), Health shows what is not configured and which optional integrations are not answering, All settings is every setting in one list, Wiring points a feature at a channel you already have, and AFK sets up Discord's own AFK channel and how long someone can be idle before Discord moves them there.

Two Things it Will Not Do

It will not edit a member's record. Not XP, not a level, not money, not an item — not for one member and not for everyone at once. Admins set the rules members earn under: rates, prices, switches and which channels count. They never set the numbers.

That is not a question of trust. These numbers are compared between servers, and a number an admin can type is a number no leaderboard can rely on. So the ability does not exist for anyone, including the people who build the bot.

It will not import levels from another bot. Only activity statistics can be brought in, and only from StatBot — see Import Your StatBot History.

The one exception to the first rule is a fixed +10% for Discord server boosters, which you can switch on or off and cannot change the size of.

What it Costs

Nothing. Asbern is free: every feature on this page is included in every server, and no card is needed.
