Requests
Members ask for a film or show your library does not have — it lands on your own Plex Watchlist, and your own Radarr and Sonarr fetch it.
Requests let members ask for a film or show your library does not have yet. A request lands on your own Plex Watchlist; the bot itself never downloads or fetches anything.

Members open /menu › Community › Watch › Add New and type a title; a typo is fine. A title already in your library is offered to watch straight away instead of being requested. Otherwise the closest titles in Plex's catalogue are shown one at a time, with Prev and Next to browse them, and Add this puts the right one on your Plex Watchlist. Your own Radarr and Sonarr, on your machine, fetch it from there, and it appears in your library when it is ready.

Your requests
The card that comes back after Add this shows where the member's requests are: what is waiting, what else is in the queue, and Refresh to check again. A 🗓️ beside a title means it is not out yet, and it is fetched on the day it is. Notify me sends the member a private message the moment one of their requests is ready to play.
What You Need
Requests are part of Watch, so a server needs Watch set up first, through /menu › Other › Admin › Media › Set up (see Media Server Setup). The fetching is done by your own Radarr and Sonarr; without them, a request still lands on your Plex Watchlist for you to act on yourself. Everything stays in your own media library, never ours.
What it Costs
Nothing. Asbern is free: every feature on this page is included in every server, and no card is needed.
