Live TV
The live channels your own Plex already carries, picked from a guide in Discord and watched together in your watch party room.
Live TV puts the live channels your own Plex already carries into Discord: a guide of what is on, and one press to watch a channel together. It runs on your machine, through the Plex library you already run — we supply no media, and nothing streams from us.

What You Need
Live TV is part of Watch, so a server needs Watch set up first: a machine of yours linked to the bot, with your Plex, through /menu › Other › Admin › Media › Set up (see Media Server Setup). That machine also needs Threadfin serving your channel list, from an IPTV source or a tuner: the channels and their streams come from Threadfin. For the listings, set up Plex's live TV and DVR with an XMLTV guide. Your box looks for Threadfin on port 34400 of the machine it runs on. A box cannot be pointed anywhere else, so run Threadfin there. With no channels there, the guide says so and why, and the fix is on your machine.
Watching a Channel
Members open the guide from /menu › Community › Watch › Live TV. It lists your channels with how many are on now, in category tabs that include ⭐ Saved, a page at a time. Search finds a show that is on now or in the next few hours. Pick a channel and it starts in your watch party room, the same room films play in, and the room's card is posted in the channel so everyone can join.
What it Costs
Nothing. Asbern is free: every feature on this page is included in every server, and no card is needed.
