Documentation
Everything, written down.
How each feature works and what every setting does — written from the bot's own Help, so the two say the same thing.
Play
Casino and Idle Tycoon
Overview
The Gaming tab's money games — the casino, Idle Tycoon and the Daily that pays for them — and the money they all spend.
ReadThe Pokémon Adventure
A full catch-and-battle Pokémon game inside Discord — free on every server, and not what we sell.
ReadThe Casino
Solo games against the house and tables that seat other members, played with the virtual money your server already earns. Free in every server.
ReadDaily Claim
The first button on the General tab collects what you are owed, or pays a daily bonus that grows with every day in a row. Free in every server.
ReadLevels and Progression
Achievements, Leaderboards and Daily
Overview
Everything built on top of levelling — the Daily, challenges, achievements, ranks, Prestige, the leaderboard and your public card.
ReadLevelling and Rank Roles
XP from messages and voice, the rank roles the bot creates, and the one XP bonus there is.
ReadPrestige
Past Master General, ten numbered prestige tiers and then Prestige Master — each resets your level for a lasting badge, faster XP and more money.
ReadAchievements
Milestones across the casino, the Tycoon, voice and the rank ladder — each one earned, never granted, and announced to the room when it lands.
ReadChallenges
A daily and a weekly objective for everyone in the server, drawn from what your server actually has set up and sized to how its members play.
ReadWrapped
A private recap of each member's year in your server — messages, voice, watch time, money and rank — that arrives on its occasion and then goes.
ReadEconomy
Idle Tycoon
A business you build one asset at a time, from a popcorn stand to owning the house. It earns while you are away and holds up to three days of it.
ReadYour Server’s Currency
Name your server's money and give it a symbol, read any member's money history, and know where every dollar in the server comes from.
ReadGiveaways
A timed giveaway with an Enter button, winners drawn at random, a window to claim, entry rules and bonus tickets — run from the admin console.
ReadStatistics
Statistics
Overview
Every statistics page — what the bot counts, the web dashboard, live counter channels, reports and your StatBot history.
ReadServer and Member Statistics
What Asbern counts from the day it joins — messages, voice, joins and leaves — and how members and admins read it in Discord.
ReadThe Web Dashboard
Your server's statistics on this website — charts you can filter, compare and export over your whole history, for the servers you are a member of.
ReadLive Counter Channels
Locked voice channels at the top of your channel list whose names show live server numbers — members, boosts, who is in voice — renamed about every ten minutes.
ReadMember and Channel Reports
Look a member up, see who joined, left or went quiet, find channels nobody uses, export your activity and read the admin console's own log.
ReadModeration and Safety
Moderation
Overview
Every moderation page — actions on a member, the server-wide tools, the log, AutoMod and anti-raid, verification, tickets and appeals.
ReadModeration Actions
Kick, ban, time out, warn and voice-ban from the admin console, with every case on record — plus a lockdown you can undo and a filtered purge.
ReadAutomod and Anti-Raid
Discord's own AutoMod, set up from a starter rule set, plus a scam-link blocklist, a warning escalation and a raid guard that can lock the server down.
ReadSupport Tickets
A panel members press to open a private channel with your staff — categories, a staff role, ratings, auto-close and a transcript that never copies messages.
ReadVerification
A gate new members pass before they see the server — a button or an image check, rules to accept first, and forms members fill in to apply for a role.
ReadModeration Log
Staff logging to the channels you choose, one kind of entry at a time — cases, joins and leaves, bans, role changes, deletions and voice — never message text.
ReadAppeals
Members ask your staff to reconsider a warning, timeout, kick, quarantine, voice ban or category removal from their own profile, and see the verdict there.
ReadCommunity
Community
Overview
Every page about the Community tab and the member doors on Other — polls, reminders, members, the leaderboard, AFK, Access and more.
ReadFeeds — News, Sports, Streams and Any Site
Post news, sports, status pages, streamers, YouTube channels, subreddits, Steam games, GitHub releases, Sleeper leagues or any website into a channel — ready-made feeds take one press, from the admin console or from a category.
ReadPolls
Put a question to the server and let everyone vote with buttons — admins start polls, and members can too once an admin allows it.
ReadReminders
Ask the bot to remind you about something later — by private message or in a channel — and snooze it when it arrives.
ReadLeaderboards
Everyone in the server who has earned anything, ranked two ways — by rank and by money — with each member's public card one press away.
ReadMembers
Type part of a name — a typo is fine — to find anyone in the server and open the public card they already show.
ReadAFK
Asbern sets up Discord's own AFK channel, and Send to AFK moves someone idle in your voice channel into it — for the idlers Discord misses.
ReadAccess
Groups of channels — Public, Open or Private — that members join, hide or run from the menu, made from channels you already have or new ones.
ReadStarboard
A message that collects enough star reactions is reposted to a highlights channel, so the best moments end up in one place — without copying a word.
ReadBirthdays
Members save their birthday — the month and day, never a year — and the bot announces it on the day, in your server's time zone.
ReadCounting
A channel where members count up one number at a time — one game per category, added from the category's Settings, and the count never resets.
ReadRecaps
A picture card where the fun happened — a casino session, a Tycoon buy, a gym badge or a shiny catch — about two minutes after the last play.
ReadHighlights and Milestones
A weekly highlights card that stays, a card when the server reaches a milestone — and other public cards that tidy away after 12 hours (recaps after 3).
ReadRun it From Discord
Welcome and Goodbye
A welcome card when somebody joins, a starting role handed out automatically, and a goodbye message when they leave — each set from the admin console.
ReadYour Bot, Your Look
Give the bot its own name, avatar, banner and bio in your server, post announcements as it, and add its icon set as server emoji.
ReadHelp and Feedback
Every part of the bot explained from the menu, and one door that reaches your staff — whose inbox lives in the console — or the people who run Asbern.
ReadMember Profile and Settings
Each member's own corner of the bot — their nickname, the public card others open, gifts, and the controls over what the bot keeps about them.
ReadLink Your Homelab
Music in Voice
Members play your own Plex music in a voice channel from Discord — search, queue, vote to skip — played by your Asbern box, never from us.
ReadLink Your Homelab
Watch parties from your own Plex, Live TV, requests and your own game servers — run on a machine you own, with the bot as the remote control.
ReadMedia Server Setup
Link the Plex library you already run so your server can hold watch parties — Set up, Status and Remove, from the admin console.
ReadGame Server Setup
Make game servers on your own Asbern box, or link the ones you already host, then start, stop, back up and check them from Discord — the machine and the files stay yours.
ReadYour Asbern Box
The one part of Asbern that runs on your own machine — one line pasted on Unraid, Synology, Proxmox or Linux, Windows or a Mac — and exactly what it does there.
ReadLive TV
The live channels your own Plex already carries, picked from a guide in Discord and watched together in your watch party room.
ReadRequests
Members ask for a film or show your library does not have — it lands on your own Plex Watchlist, and your own Radarr and Sonarr fetch it.
ReadHow Do I…
Run a Movie Night
Link the Plex library you already run, then start a watch party your members join from Discord — what to set up, what members see, and what happens when your machine is off.
ReadStart a Game Server From Discord
Put an Asbern box on the machine that runs your games, make a Minecraft, Valheim, Factorio or Terraria server from Discord, and let friends outside join — without giving anyone access to the machine.
ReadSet up Levelling
Turn chat and voice into levels and ranks — where the four settings are, which channels to exclude, and why you cannot type a number into anybody's level.
ReadImport Your StatBot History
Bring your server's activity history across from StatBot — what is imported, what deliberately is not, how to preview it before anything is written, and how to undo it.
ReadForward Ports on Your Router
The manual way in, when your Asbern box cannot open your router by itself — forward a game server's ports, check them with Check again, and, on a deployment with no names domain, forward ports 80 and 443 for the watch party.
ReadFriends Join Automatically
How friends outside your home join a game server on your Asbern box — your router, the server's name, every answer Check can give with its fix, and what other people can see.
ReadLink Jellyfin
Link the Jellyfin server you already run to Asbern with one press and a Quick Connect code, so members can browse and search it from Discord — and set up Seerr for requests.
